Finally, a place where he could get his weekly buzz. He had been searching this godforsaken town for hours, and had only spotted tack shops and general stores. But here he was, surrounded by clubs and bars. One place, Harley's Bar, looked promising. But there was practically a sign that said motorcycles were required, and Cody's father had kept his. There was another place, too. Ghastly's, it was called. A strip club, by the looks of it. No offense to the ladies, but Cody still held some morals from when he was Christian, and watching exotic dancing was one of his no-no's. But then his keen eye had spotted this beauty. Club Pandemic. He could hear the trance music pounding as he stood outside. Strobe lights flashed gaily, and he knew he was home.
He walked up to the door where a bouncer waited to do his job. With a smirk, Cody flashed his fake ID. Sure, he was old enough to get into the place, but he needed to be 21 to drink, and he was only 19. But with his handy dandy best friend, he had concocted a fake birth certificate and had applied for a driver's license under "Cody Forester" age 21, rather than "Cody Foster", age 19. Clever, clever.
The bouncer nodded, letting him enter the club. Blacklights made his white jersey glow brightly, as if he were a walking billboard made to coax women to him. Yep, he liked this place. He liked it a lot.
He immediately walked over to the bar where some women were sitting with men of similar body types and ages. His body type and age. He sat next to them and nodded a hello, smirking sadistically. One woman, a blonde, took a seat next to him and asked him for a drink. He readily obliged and ordered a shot for the both of them. She gladly accepted, and the two threw back their heads at the same time.
He spoke with her for a half an hour before she thanked him and left. He hadn't gotten a full home run, but he had been able to reach second base, and he was happy with that. Now, who was next?

ooc| Won't watch exotic dancers but is mor e then willing to go the whole nine yards when a random girl. Yep that sounds like he has loads of Morals *rolls eyes*
You make me so hot make me wanna drop you're so ridiculous I can barely stop I can hardly breathe you make me wanna scream you're so fabulous...
Wavy blond hair framed the perfectly shaped face of a girl that walked through the double doors of the club. Tight black pants clung to her perfect curves, sitting low on her hips, so low some would consider it too low, but not her, she couldn't stand them being much higher. A loose silver sequin top sat in place, hanging low and showing off quite a bit, especially if she for some reason decided to bend over. Thick eyeliner circled blue eyes, making them stand out. It was her ploy, bring all attention to her eyes, it didn't always work but a lot of the time. A few bracelets sat in place on her arms, and a few necklaces hung around her neck. Her hair loose and wavy. She was dressed to kill and here for a fun night, or so she hoped. She glanced around a moment before starting across the floor, her silver stilettos clicking against the ground as she made her way towards the bar.
The blond reached the bar and she leaned on it, sticking her a s s out just slightly, flaunting it just a little. It was only there to look at not touch, sadly if anyone attempted to touch they would probably horribly regret it, those heels could be rather painful in just the right place. She wasn't usually to go out and get wasted, in fact, she had no intentions of getting wasted, just a few drinks and then she'd leave, she really just wanted to chill out. She caught the attention of the bar tender and ordered a drink. When she was presented with her beer she thanked him with a wink of her blue eye before turning around. She leaned back against the bar, looking around the club with a little bit of a smile, this was a popular place. She could see why. There were some interesting people here, all different shapes and sizes all over the dance floor, grinding against each other. She never had been one for "dirty dancing"... It was like sex with out the good stuff involved, how lame was that. She rolled her eyes at the thought and raised the bottle to her lips, tipping it back.
The music choice in the club was interesting, she couldn't say it was bad, and she certainly wasn't going to say it was good. It was some sort of techno mix that was easy to dance to but only that. She certainly wouldn't be caught with it on her iPod anytime soon. She glanced around, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves and she felt like the odd one out. There was that couple over there, making out in the corner, a man trying to get a girl just a few feet down the bar from her, and then of course all those out on the dance floor. She figured she might as well find herself someone to dance with before she looked completely stupid. She glanced around but didn't see any likely suspects, oh well, she might as well just give up on that idea. She tipped the bottle to her lips again as she watched the people on the dance floor...

(ooc: what can he say? he's got an eye for the wasted. lol)
Cody laughed lightly with some of the guys near him. They were alright, especially as drunk as they were. Luckily none of them were angry drunks, just happy ones. He was starting to feel a bit tipsy as well. Perfect. He wasn't exactly drunk yet, but he was getting close to the legal BAC limit. Once he hit .08, he was out the window insane. But before then, he knew what he was doing, but didn't know enough to care. It was at that exact time that a nice piece of eye candy rolled in. She was wearing a tight-ass pair of black pants...literally. He watched her greedily as she walked over and stood next to him, leaning forward to order a drink. He wouldn't hit her, not yet. He didn't care for having sex with girls like her. Those that showed off purposefully, yet were probably defensive when it came right down to it. He could tell by her heels.
In fact, he was happy to say that he was still half-virgin. He had made out with girls and all that, but had never actually done it with one. He knew that wouldn't change any time soon, but he could still reach the half-way point now, couldn't he? Sure, he was upset he didn't get that last girl. But come on, who could resist having a fine piece of meat like that as your first?
The new girl sat down a few seats away and observed the dancers as she drank quietly. Cody grabbed his bottle of burbon, asked for two shot glasses, and moved to the seat next to her. Hello. He said plainly, thanking the bartender when he was brought the glasses. What's your name? He asked the lady sadistically.
He scooted closer to her, following her line of sight. People were crowded in line after line of their sex-to-music dancing. Pathetic. He laughed harshly at the drunk dancers, turning back to the blonde. Care for a shot? He asked, sliding her a glass with the liquor. Bottle's on me. And there's more, if you want. He smiled again, jerking his head back to take the shot. It burned his throat like Hell, but in a way, it felt good. Oh, He held up a finger, which was shaking a bit from the alcohol. I'm Cody, by the way. I'm the new bartender here. He smiled again, hoping that would turn her on a bit more. Free drinks all night long if she wanted.

The blond caught sight of the boy out of the corner of her eye and slowly she shook her head, a little smirk like smile tugging at the corner of her lips, she just hoped he didn't think he was going to get lucky. Most the men in this joint looked like they were looking for someone to take back to their place and that just wasn't her thing. She tended to like to know someone before she let them have their way. Of course she wasn't miss goody goody, she'd had her fair share of one night stands, her fair share of good guiltless sex, but it just wasn't her favorite, no, not her favorite at all.
Eyes as clear blue as the morning sky glanced to him as he slid into the bar stool beside her and she gave a friendly smile. She hadn't had nearly enough alcohol just yet to be her flirty drunken self. He stated some sort of greeting and asked of her name. She again let off a smirk like smile and extended a hand "Aj" she replied to his questioning of her name. Of course that wasn't her actual name but it was the nickname she'd known for many years now. It had actually been given to her after she'd come in second on her first ever race, a reporter had done an interview with the young girl, later when the article had run the reporter had referred to miss August Jane Jones as Aj Jones and since then it'd stuck
Hand caught the shot glass as he slid it towards her across the bar and she smiled "Why thank you" she said pleasantly, grasping the glass between her fingers. She used her free hand to push her bottle of beer aside, figuring that she'd just settle on whatever the young man was willing to give her for no charge. She raised the glass and her pink lips closed around the edge before she tipped her head back. She swallowed the burning liquid and shook her head out, laughing a little bit, dropping the shot glass back onto the bar.

Cody continued to smile as he poured himself another shot. He could practically feel the pure alcohol rush through his veins. It sparked in his body, making his fingertips quiver. He was nearly at his limit, but he continued to drink. He took another shot, facing the blonde with a flirtatious look on his face. She was some of the best eye candy he had seen in awhile. Or maybe that was the alcohol. Whichever it was, it was nice.
Aj, huh? He smiled, filling her glass. I like it. Are they initials, or is that your real name? He knew his speech was starting to slur, but he didn't care. He was used to it by now. Some days he would get so drunk even he couldn't understand what he was saying. Those were the best times, when he had the most fun. At least, when he was being his usual happy drunk self. Sometimes he would turn into an angry drunk, or a put-on drunk. Then things got dangeous and/or awkward. But right now, he was feeling a bit giddy...a good sign for the girl next to him. If he had been angry, who knows what he could do to her, sharp heels or not. If he had been feeling more flirtatious than usual, again, who knew what he could do to her.
But he wasn't, so he continued to drink. He shot his head back with his second fill, then nearly immediately filled his glass and took a third, and then a fourth. God, he had never gotten such a fast buzz. Completely wasted in an hour. Not bad, for his old records. Of course, he had never relied almost completely on shots before. He would have to do that more often.
He gripped the table a bit as the room spun, trying to focus on the one still object, his drinking buddy. So... He tried to sort out his thoughts. You wer...work here, or what? He forced the question out, barely understandable. He looked the girl...Aj...up and down. She was looking mighty fine, especially to a drunk. But one glance at those heels told him no, he wasn't going to get lucky for the first time in his life. Not with her, anyway. She'd kill every reason for him to want to in a matter of seconds, if he did. And, even as wasted as he was, he knew he couldn't risk that.
He slid the blonde the rest of the bottle and waved the bartender over. Another one, please. He asked, pointing to the bottle. The bartender stared at him in silent refusal, and he stood up. Now, please. He demanded, his voice commanding. The bartender shrugged and got him another bottle, sliding it down to him. Thank... Cody hiccupped. ...you. Again, he poured himself a glass and took a shot. He looked at the bottle intently for a moment before drinking straight from it. The faster the better, he always thought.
(ooc: I've never played an alcoholic before...they're pretty fun!)

ooc| I spent lots of time with alcoholics... they're not as fun as they may seem. =]
A little shrug crept over the girl's shoulders as he asked about her name and she couldn't help but smile "Well that's for you to figure out" she said with a little laugh, watching him as he tipped back another shot. Already the young man was plastered and she wasn't looking forward to what he was going to be like in a matter of minutes if he kept up with the shots like he was. She watched with wide eyes as he tipped back a second, a third, and even a forth. Oh dear lord he was going to start getting "silly" any minute now.
She breathed in deeply as she prepared herself for the events that were sure to follow, she wasn't sure how she always ended up attracting the bad, weird, ugly guys. She rolled her eyes, he wouldn't even notice that she'd done so in his drunken state. Attention caught on the bottle that slid her way, almost completely empty. She closed her hand around the bottle and emptied the contents into a shot glass. Again she raised the small glass to her lips and tipped it back, swallowing hard before letting the glass drop back to the bar, her head shaking out again. Oh that was awful.
She watched surprised as he demanded another bottle and she looked around, there had to be a way to get out of this. She didn't want to be stuck with this guy for the night, he was going to drink himself dead. She glanced around and breathed in deeply, she didn't want to be rude but she couldn't think of any other way other then just slipping away while he wasn't paying attention. It wasn't that she minded a drinker, it was just he couldn't seem to control herself and that wasn't appealing, not at all. She sighed, folding her arms on the bar, just dandy.

He downed a fifth shot, finally setting the bottle aside. There was still three quarters of it left, and he offered it to Aj. He slid it down to her before giving his glass back to the bartender. He leaned back against the bar, smiling a bit. Now, what to do? He was absolutely wasted, and having a blast. He looked over at the girl, still the only thing in the room that wasn't spinning. She didn't look too happy. Aww, baby, what's wrong? He asked, scooting closer to her. He hoped it wasn't him that was making her mad. She looked bored, and a bit angry. Maybe it was because he had slid her a bottle that didn' t have much in it? But he had given her another one, chock full of alcohol. Surely she wasn't mad at that anymore. Shrugging, he stood, clasping the bar for support. He wanted to dance. For some reason, the urge hit him fast, and hit him hard.
Come on, they're playing one of my favorite songs. He said, his words slurred together. Truthfully, he couldn't remember ever hearing this song in his life, but if it would get her off the chair and moving, a little white lie couldn't be bad. He offered his hand, and waited for her to take it. But he started to sway, and instead took it for support. Getting a little more steady, he pulled lightly on her arm to coax her to dance with him. Smiling, he turned to lead her onto the crowded dance floor where countless other drunks were having a blast. A couple girls beaconed to him, but he held up a finger instead, telling them to wait. He was with someone. He turned to look at her, to wait for her to come up and dance with him. Not really registering whether she was still sitting down or not, he began to dance with one of the girls. She had hobbled over to him and had leaned against him, and who was he to resist a pretty girl?
He laughed loudly and danced along with the music, and swayed along with the alcohol. He was having a blast, but was Aj? Where was she? He turned to search for her, and nearly fell onto the girl in the process. Giving a blundered apology, he scanned the dancers and bar for the blonde girl, but could barely tell up from down, let alone Aj from anyone else in the bar.

Aj breathed out slowly when he asked if she was ok, she wasn't particularly fond of the term baby as only her father was allowed to call her that but this circumstance she wasn't going to make a deal out of it, he wouldn't remember anyway. She shook her head and put on one of her signature smiles, it was fake but you couldn't even tell, he seemed to be having a good time and who was she to bring him down "Nothings wrong" she said with a little bit of a chuckle, giving him an odd look as if he'd imagined her whole bad attitude. Maybe she just needed to chill out, she was far too much of a stiff for her own good. Maybe she just needed to take the stick out of her a s s and get over herself. She eyed the alcohol that he'd slid her way and she shrugged oh what the heck she thought to herself, grasping the bottle, emptying some of it's content into her glass, only getting it half full before she realized what she was doing. She shook her head, and glanced around before raising the whole bottle to her lips, tipping it back and taking a big swig.
When he asked to dance she nodded, figuring he was probably just going to fall over on top of her but what fun was life when you didn't take risks. A guy falling on top of you didn't sound like a very appealing risk on second thought but it was too late as she'd already moved to her feet. Dancing in these shoes was going to be fun, now wasn't it, she thought sarcastically, it wouldn't be fun at all after a while. You could only last in high heeled shoes for so long. She stopped these thoughts that were nearly convincing her not to dance. She realized that he'd already headed out to the dance floor with out her and was up close and personal with another girl. She decided maybe now would be her time to slip away but she couldn't bring herself to do so, she wasn't ready to go yet. She was here to have fun and she was going to have fun.
Heels clicked against the ground as she made her way out onto the floor, weaving in and out of people, the boy in her sight. Finally she reached him and she subtly slipped in place of the other girl. She was actually quite talented in the way that she'd slipped in, the boy and girl hardly even noticing what had happened. Aj slipped her arms over his shoulders, letting them sit there. As against sex-to-music dancing as she was she knew how to do it, and she knew how to do it well. It was obvious that she'd probably done it before even though she'd looked so disgusted by it earlier. Her hips swayed back and forth, eyes on his face with that same little smirk like smile in place on her lips..

Cody bounced around excitedly-albeit drunkenly-as the music roared. Lights flashed in the room, threatening to give even a healthy person a seizure. He was surprised no one had collasped yet, whether from a seizure, being just plain drunk, or both. He felt like he was about to. The room was spinning worse and worse, and his throat was dry. A headache glimmered at the edge of his mind, threatening the mother of all hangovers tomorrow. And he bet he wouldn't remember why he had a hangover in the first place. But he didn't care. He wanted to do what his brother called the 2 D's: Dance and Drink. Now in that order.
He bumped the girl in front of him lightly with the song, barely noticing when Aj slipped in. There she was! He smiled, pleased, as she danced right along with him. He took a quick glance at the bar and vaguely saw the bottle he had slid her. It was plum empty. Smirking, he danced with her, stumbling a few times. She smelled like alcohol, but who in this room didn't? He knew he wreeked of it. After all, it was one of his favorite smells.
You're good. He said, feeling more than a bit tipsy. Once more he stumbled, nearly falling to the floor. He tapped her on the shoulder and held up one finger, silently telling her to wait right there for just a minute. He quickly rushed to the bar, giving her a side glance every few seconds, trying to let her know he wouldn't be long. He waved the bartender over to him and asked for another bottle. Rolling his eyes, the man did as he was told, sliding the glass down to the customer. Cody threw it back, the entire bottle. He was dying of thirst. Leaning back forward, he wiped his mouth on his sleeve and slowly made his way back to the dance line.
He got back up with Aj, again dancing with her. He knew he would have to leave soon. If he didn't, he'd black out right on top of her. But he was having way too much fun to leave now.
You know, He said, supressing a burp. It's a scientific fact that men can hold their liquor longer than women. He smirked, fishing for his wallet. Wanna make a bet to see who blacks first? For a moment, he wondered if his words were understandable. He was having a hard time hearing himself, which wasn't usually good news. But he found his wallet and stopped caring. He flashed a twenty dollar bill, setting the bid. He waited patiently for her to accept or decline. [/blockquote]

With arms rested loosely across his shoulders she swayed her hips side to side, standing in close to him so she swayed against him in rhythm to the music She looked pretty d a m n sexy as she did so too. She knew what she was doing and she knew how to make it look good, that for sure was obvious. She wasn't particularly appreciating the fact that he kept stumbling, that was hardly sexy at all, but she'd get over it she supposed. She was ready at any moment to move out of his way when he couldn't hold on any longer and actually passed out.
The boy paused and raised a finger as if to say wait here. Her blue eyes rolled to the back of her head then back. This guy needed to stop. She watched him retreat back to the bar to chug another entire bottle in about a minute. She watched with wide eyes as he returned. This was not going to end well. He was going to pass out, or puke, or SOMETHING! She had to get out of here before one of these things happened to him directed at her.
He returned, coming in close to her again and she gave a brief smile, secretly plotting how to get out of here. She was drunk but not drunk enough to be passed out on. She smiled at him as he made the bet and slowly she shook her head "You're going to pass out first. It wouldn't be a fair bet" she said with a little bit of a laugh, moving to the music again, but not as into it as before.

He did his best to keep his footing, and wasn't doing too bad, considering how much alcohol he had downed in such a short time. He could feel his arm jerk a bit involuntarily, but he didn't care. He was too drunk to care. And too dizzy. And too sick. And too tipsy. He was just a wreck. Certainly not at his worst...that record, he felt, would never be broken. Five bottles of liquor in four hours. He didn't wake up for nearly a day, and the day after that, he felt like shooting himself just to relieve the headache.
But not tonight. Tonight, he had only downed two bottles on his own. The girls had downed the rest of his money. And here he was, putting twenty more bucks up for grabs. He knew he needed the money, and at the same time, he didn't. He didn't care. He wanted to make a bet. Bets were fun. Bets were good for you. They taught you money management, and how not to blow your money.
Aww, come on sweetie cake. He cooed, his voice a little more high pitched than usual. I've only had two bottles. I could have another one and still not go out. I'll prove it to you. He pushed her away gently, headed in the direction he thought the bar was in. He mumbled slurred excuses after he hit person after person, his eyes focused on the slab of wood that had to be the bar. When he got up to it, he leaned against it and waved to the person nearby. Wow...he was tall. And that big counter in there probably had a hell of a lot of liquor behind it.
Not getting a response, he waved again. A man leaned over and shouted to him What the hell do you think you're doing?
He asked, leaning onto the wood, for a bottle of burbon. The man shook his head, and he slammed his fist on the wood. Gimme my drink! He screamed.
Dude, this is the stage. The man yelled to him over the music. Cody merely shook his head, demanding for his alcohol. Someone, he wasn't sure who, pulled him away and placed him on a nearby seat. They said something, but he couldn't tell what. He leaned on the counter heavily, once again asking for his order. He was whispering now, too tired to raise his voice. But he wasn't too tired to slam his fist. He banged it on the counter, drawing the bartender over. Ah, shit, he was getting angry. But the innocent bartender had no idea what was coming for him. He nonchalantly came over, asking Cody what he wanted.
I want my damn burbon! He screamed, sitting up and glaring at the man with bloodshot eyes. I got a bet with my girlfriend says I can't drink another. He could feel the vomit rising in his throat as he yelled, but he held it down. He could drink another bottle, she would see. The bartender (a new one from before), shrugged and handed him the bottle. He swiped it before the skinny man could set it on the counter, tipped it to his lips, and guzzled the entire thing. Well, half of it. The other half spilled on the floor next to him. He leaned to ask for another, but instead of going forward, he moved to the side and fell out of his chair, flat on his face. Aj watched through wide blue eyes as he stomped off towards the bar, going to prove that he could take another bottle with out anything changing. Now was her time to escape, this guy had a problem, he needed help and she certainly was not going to be the one to help him. She didn't know the guy. She didn't know what he was capable of and she wasn't going to try and stop him from drinking but this was getting outrageous.
Eyes grew even wider when he went for the stage and not the bar. He was so far gone he probably couldn't even tell the difference between a naked female and male. This was just stupid. Who on earth wanted to get THAT drunk. It just wasn't right. She looked around. Even if you were fun when you were drunk you wouldn't even remember it. Her mind was slightly clouded by the alcohol that she'd drunk just 15 minutes ago but it wasn't clouded enough. She knew she needed to go.
As the bar was set down on a stool and handed his drink she slipped into a crowd of people so she wouldn't be spotted. Slowly she weaved in and out of people, hearing the commotion and he fell off his seat onto his face. What a messed up guy. Slowly she weaved her way in and out and finally reached the door. She glanced back momentarily to see him on the ground and she shook her head almost disgustingly, as amusing as he was she knew she needed to get away. She pushed open one of the double doors and slipped out into the cool air, goosebumps covering her skin as a lot of it was revealed. She shivered, knowing she should have brought a jacket. She looked around, shaking her head a little, unable to remember where she'd parked, oh she shouldn't even be driving. What was she supposed to do now.

Cody, his arms shaking, pushed himself upright. He looked around fervently for his girl, but could barely tell one person from the other. He saw the door at the front of the bar swing open, and a dash of blonde hair caught his eye. Maybe she was leaving. Did he scare her off?
He quickly asked for another bottle of liquor, and when the bartender gave it to him, he slammed the money down on the counter and stumbled to the door, leaning against the bar for support. He had to apologize to her. Maybe he had embarassed her. As he drew closer and closer, he could see through the glass better and better. Whoever it was, it was a girl holding her arms. Well, if it wasn't Aj, he could at least make the excuse that he was worried the girl would freeze to death and call her a cab.
He tripped and practically fell out the doorway, catching himself on the glass window. He looked up, and, though his vision was blurry, he was pretty darn sure it was Aj standing before him. Hey. He said loudly. Why'd ya leave? I was gonna buy you another drink. You ain't drunk enough yet. You gotta be wasted like me 'fore you can have fun! He laughed loudly, walking up to her and putting his arm around her, leaning on her for support. He offered her the full bottle, tipping it towards her mouth. Come on, have a drink. Come on. He coaxed, as if he were talking to a baby. Don't be shy, it won't hurt ya. Come on, you wanna have fun, right? He continued to offer her the bottle.I bought it just for you, darlin'. Just for you. He hiccuped once more, smiling dumbly at her. Come on, have some fun. [/blockquote]

August's eyes grew wide as he stumbled out of the shop and a pathetic look crossed her face. She just wanted to go, get away, he was starting to get scary with how drunk he was. He stumbled over to her and hooked an arm over her shoulder, mumbling slurred words. She glanced at him warily, shaking her head as he tried to force his bottle of alcohol at her "No Thank you" she said, quickly moving away from him, getting out of his grasp.
The young woman started down the sidewalk, suddenly remembering where she parked her car in her desperate state of trying to escape the guy. She hated to be rude but the guy was literally nuts. She turned back to face him, still continuing down the sidewalk backwards, her heels clicking against the ground "I'll catch you another time" she called, trying to be friendly " I've just got to go home right now" she said with a little nod. She waved a hand and turned back around. It wasn't that she was a total party pooper or something, it was just, well, she didn't want to have THAT much fun. She liked a little control.
August spotted her black Camry and let out a sigh of relief "Thank God" she said in a whisper. She looked both ways before stepping into the street, heading across to where her car was parked along the side of the road. She grabbed hold of her keys from the back pocket of her tight pants. She grabbed the key to the car and stuck it in the lock, unlocking her door before opening it and sliding into the vehicle with a relieved sigh. She leaned back in her seat and looked out the front window. She knew she shouldn't drive but she didn't feel THAT drunk so she was willing to risk it. She stuck the key in the ignition, starting the engine.
