She entered through the staff door. The woman hung up her bag. She walked behind the bar, in her tight jeans and red wife beater, with buttons. Her hair was up in a messy bun. She slipped in her employee card and washed her hands. The club was already packed. That meant alot of tips, which went to the aparment. She started serving up drinks looking for eye candy. She had gotten this job, because being a exersize rider wasnt the best pay in the world. The music was giving her a head ache already. It was pounding. Her hands shook as she poured in the various liqours. A bacardi and cola on the rocks said, a deep voice. She nodded and got a chilled glass. She filled it with ice and 1/4 with the rum. She added cola untill it buzzedd. The guy payed and left. She sat back against the sink. She rubbed her temples with her palms. Her thoughts were swirling. She got her self some tonic water and a lime. She had a long night ahead of her.

Cody walked in, his employee name tag already clipped to his black shirt. His jeans hung a bit low as he walked, with his hands shoved into his pockets. He slipped behind the counter, ready to do his job. Before starting, he checked the register and made sure there was the right amount of money inside. Check. He observed their stock and made sure they had all the alcohol they needed. Check. He looked over the crowd, silently guestimating how many people were here. Plenty. And then he heard someone else slip behind the counter. He looked on quietly as the newest bartender, Julez, he had heard, served a man his drink. She was pretty talented with the drinks. He smiled and walked over to her as she got her own drink. You must be the new girl. He said pleasantly, offering his hand for a shake. I'm Cody. Nice to meet you. He smiled politely, scanning over the crowd once more. Thank God they hired another bartender. I'd of had a rough time of it by myself tonight.

Hey, yeah im just in it for the money though. She said as she served a tispey woman another vodka on the rocks.Trust, me it was either becoming a stripper at ghastleys or this. She said laughing. The woman had downed it and drunkily walked off. The club was becoming more crowded. She popped another bottle of grey goose into the big barrel of ice. She looked at her Swarvoski watch. It was only 11:12. Still sooo early. The club closed at 4:30 A.M. And turned into a lounge at 1p.m. and then closed again at 6, to get ready for the night crowd. She wipped her head with the back of her hand and leaned back again.

He smiled, laughing lightly with her. Well, I'm glad you chose this. He said, watching her serve the woman. He shook his head in disgust. Not disgust at the drunk, per se, but at himself for being one of them. For getting drunk like that of his own free will. It had to stop, he knew. Before he became a full blown, official alcoholic. At least he had a horse of his own now. That would make it easier to stay sober, and it would keep his stress level to a minimum. He hoped. His drinking always worsened the more stressed out he got.
He heard someone call him over, and he quickly went to help them out. It was a man, almost as drunk as the woman Julez had just served. How on earth could so many people get so drunk so early? The man demanded, rather loudly, for a burbon with a pop. Cody nodded readily, grabbing a glass of soda and mixing in the alcohol. The guy downed it quickly, nearly falling out of his chair in the process. He asked for another one, then changed his mind and asked for six. "save you the trouble" he said. Or, so Cody thought. It had come out more like "sayut rublllll..." The "l" had dragged out until the man hiccupped a few moments later. Rolling his eyes, Cody slid him his drinks and turned back to the other bartender.
Tonight'll be fun. He commented, twirling his finger around his head in the universal "he's crazy" sign.

Julez nodded in agreement. She had been told before taht she was good with drinks. It must run in the blood, she thougth to herself. A group of kids came up. They all looked like 15 year olds, dressed up to look older. They beckonded her over. She had an idea. Julez walked over, talking to cody as she did. So, Cody. Did you get that staff letter about what were supposed to do with underage kids sneaking in? She said standing infront of them, but speaking to Cody.I kknow, it had something to do with poolice She said now, turning to the stowaways. [/b]Now, what can i getcha?[/b] She said, smiling. The kids stared at her openmouthed and ran away. Julez relaxed and served a college student a beer.[/size]
