Her mind rained in so many places she could possibly go, her chestnut filly was being taken care of the next morning at a clinic near Belmont along with Miss. They were there for vaccinations and many other things, a check-up a conformation idea and so many more things. Her set of jeans wrapped around her legs as the sign to Club Pandemic, she hadn't been so why not try it out. Walked down the street to the club she looked at the Club's bouncer and made one look at him as he opened the door for her. Speaking so softly she said thank you and was not heard by the music pounding inside. Her feet carried her through the dance floor as several people tried to grab her hand and dance with her she was a bit happy now she was thin. Making her way gently through the crowd on the dance floor she made it to the side and sat at the counter and ordered a water, in a matter of seconds the man came back and winked at her before putting the water down. Her lips moved in the words of thank you but basically nothing came out. Her hair held up in a ponytail and her jeans with the rip in the knees along with a shirt that wasn't her favorite was what she wore. Some many things ran in her mind, first off Kris needed her own car, not one she leased each month. Little income, no car and she was now several days away from her rent being due. She'd met only few people, two of whom were Beau and August Jones. Apparently August had been a famous jockey but how was Kris suppose to know when she'd been locked up and in Lexington living in a trailer training horses now and again.
When Kris snapped out of her past she couldn't help but take a deep breath and take a sip from the water. Feeling almost invisible she had a sense it was a good thing at that one time. Hearing someone call her name she turned around and saw no one except a guy and a guy seeing each other and hugging one another. Turning back to her drink she took one more sip and was gonna leave but couldn't help but just sit there.

August sat out in her black Camry, her music playing slightly louder then probably necessary but she didn't care. She didn't care who she was bothering or who could hear it. She leaned back in the seat, blue eyes falling on the club. She'd agreed this morning that she'd pick Bryn, her roommate up after her shift finished. Supposedly this was the time she'd be ready to go but August had been here nearly fifteen minutes and still no sign of her blond roommate. Finally after a few more minutes the young woman found herself getting slightly impatient. She reached for the key in the ignition and turned it, killing the engine. The music stopped blasting as the car shut off and August reached for the door handle, opening the door and slipping out.
August didn't look dressed to be heading into a club, she knew that, but she didn't care. Long blond hair was pulled back in a messy bun. A tight dark blue tank top sat in place, a black hoodie over the top to keep the chill of the evening from reaching her skin. Light gray sweatpants sat low on her hips, going loosely down her legs to white nikes with a hot pink stripe on each. She looked like she'd maybe been in the middle of a work out before she'd hopped into the car to head over to the club to pick up her roommate.
August had no intentions of drinking while she was here so she didn't feel the need to flaunt her fake ID but still she was stopped. She looked quite young when she wasn't done up and the bouncer thought her to be even younger then 18. Agitatdedly she reached into the pocket of her hoodie and pulled out a duct tape wallet, finding her actual ID hidden beneath a business card she'd be given by a Modeling agency that was looking for photographers. She flashed the ID that held a picture of herself that she wasn't particularly fond of, showing her twenty years of age to the bouncer. He apologized and August slipped into the club, looking around.
Bryn was no where in sight and August felt the sudden urge to strangle her roommate. She hadn't known the girl all too long but already she felt she knew her well enough to be threatening to strangle her. She sighed, shaking her head. She wasn't sure if she should wait of if she should go. She looked around, her expression plainly stating she was a bit lost. Again she sighed, catching sight of a familiar brunette. She rolled her eyes, she really couldn't stand the girl but why not ask if she'd seen the infamous Bryn.
A light tap met Kris' shoulder as August's fingertips made contact. She looked at the girl as she turned to face her and she gave a brief smile "Have you been here long?" she asked curiously. If the girl hadn't been here a while she doubted she'd know where Bryn was. Even if she had been here a while she still didn't know weather this girl would know where Bryn was.

Kris felt a tap on her shoulder, immediately it brought back those unneeded and unwanted memories. The night before she was arrested the first time, her old founded friend and enemy Chase had found her drinking her way into a coma almost. Tapped on her shoulder and found himself a drunk youngster with a fake id and the ability to drive. She had hot wired the car after a quick ten minute lesson with Chase and she had learned to ever since. Immediately her state of mind placed her back in the club and now turned facing August Jones, a new founded enemy in the girl's mind probably. Had she been there a while, well if twenty minutes counted then no. Finally, her voice was found as the picture of Chase flashed in her mind almost as if that was Chase in front of her. Eyes blinked twice before they realized along with her mind that it was August Jones and she spoke. No I just got her. A smile suddenly down poured her expression but it was weak almost not there. Thoughts uprising as her tee-shirt and the rest of her apparel didn't match club standards but she wasn't the type really. The off-white shirt that she had had for years with the half way down her arms black sleeves were going almost in the way of a tee-shirt. Moving each hand she pulled them down in discomfort, she hadn't been in a club since the night she was arrested. She hadn't wanted but something had almost pulled her into the palce, was it boredom? Or was it the thirst for trouble?

August shrugged a little bit when she said she hadn't been here very long. She sighed, looking around "Nevermind then" she said quietly. She again looked around, the dirty blond that she was looking for. She leaned against the bar with an over dramatic sigh. She caught sight of the bar tender and waved him over. Though she didn't have the little dot on her hand informing him that she was over twenty one he didn't seem to care, gazing at her curiously. She looked around, obviously pondering on what drink she wished to have. Finally she shook her head "Just a Shirley temple" she said with a little nod. She decided that an alcoholic drink wouldn't be the best when she should be driving. It wasn't long before her Shirley temple was slid across the bar to her and she caught it, lowering her head to catch the straw between her lips.

Okay then. She didn't wanna be the sorry sap by telling August Jones that she thinks they had gotten off on the wrong foot. And that they should possibly start over and maybe become friends, to Kris and possibly her they were mortal enemies. It just made life one of those happier moments, expecially in Kris's life. Not. Kris had always wanted the happy times were someone could possibly understand her for once but not one except Chase, now and again. It all depend on how they met and talked each day. Snapping into the present she looked at August order a drink and in moments it slid down the bar and to her, as Kris took another sip of her water she couldn't help her urge. But want to leave. Mind bulging out of obsession. Even as a girl born from the prestige Williamson family she had made no name for herself unlike her parents.

August breathed in deeply as she moved to sit on one of the bar stools. She wasn't even sure why she was bothering to stick around. She knew she ought to get back to the apartment where she knew her cat would be waiting for her. Where she knew she should be doing more sit ups but no, for some reason she couldn't bring herself to leave the place. She wasn't sure if she just felt lonely at home with just the cat or weather she was trying to cover up for being home sick for her fathers home. She sighed a little, shaking her head, it didn't matter, she'd finish this drink and head home with or with out Bryn. Her naturally pink lips closed around the straw that led into the reddish pink liquid and slowly she sucked the contents from the glass, eyes closing at she did so. How she did enjoy a good Shirley temple and this bar tender had made an amazing one. Eyes scanned the bar as she continued to drink from the glass.
