Today's the day that all the world will see another sunny afternoon I'm walking to the sound of my favorite tune Tomorrow never knows what it's got to know too soon. Need a little time to wake up Need a little time to wake up, wake up Need a little time to wake up.
August sat on the carpeted floor of the living room of the apartment she shared with Bryn Richards, surrounded by boxes. She wasn't sure where the other girl was but quite frankly she didn't care. She moved to her knees, peering into an open box in front of her. More clothes. She shrugged a little bit, unable to keep from laughing, it was insane how many different items of clothing she owned. No wonder most of the boxes had been so light. She wrapped her arms around the box and moved her feet, carrying the box back to her bedroom. She emptied the contents onto the bed, accidentally dumping the clothes on top of the over weight cat that lay asleep on her pillow in the center of the bed. The orange tabby jumped up and looked towards August with annoyed green eyes, his expression clearly reading that he wasn't thrilled with her accident. The young woman's blue eyes rolled "You're so dramatic" she mumbled to the cat as she began folding the clothes and stacking them neatly on her bed.
Music played rather loudly, filling the apartment and probably bothering others in other apartments surrounding theres. August hadn't received any complaints yet and so she figured it was fine. After the first complaint she'd turn it down... a little. August finished with the folding of the clothes and danced out of the bedroom, going to another box. She realized the box was still taped and looked around, biting the corner of her lip. Ah ha! She spotted the scissors on the coffee table and moved toward it, snatching them up in her hand, using them to open up the box. She peered inside the now open box only to find MORE clothes. She shook her head in disbelief "How do I find time to wear them all!?" she asked herself in a bit of a laugh, her head shaking.

Coming into the desolate apartment, at least it had been desolate at 4:30 this morning when Bryn left. She went for a jog, trying to keep her body toned and well for her nightly rendez-vous with the stage. The lights hugged her body and showed off every crevice, even the ones she wasn't so proud of. She hit the tanning bed after that, and stopped off at the post office to get a box with her name on it. She re-opened a bank account and deposited last nights' wages into it. $680 for a five hour night. She would've stayed later, but wanted to give the new girl a chance at the late night show. Frankly, the later, the more people threw back the booze, and the money.
She walked into the shared pad to find a blonde female opening a box. The scissors seemed placed diligently in her hand. She smiled as she shut the door, which didn't shut until she leaned back and pressed with her tennis shoes. Dirty adidas may not be attractive, but useful. A few awkwardly stacked boxes lined the side wall labeled with her name and accompanied room as to where they belonged. "Sorry, I really should get my stuff out of here, huh?" She said innocently. With work and working out, she hadn't found much time to be home, nor even meet her room mate August.

August being rather wrapped up in her current task of going through her clothes hadn't even heard her roommate come in. She didn't hear the door open nor did she hear it close. The loud music probably wasn't helping anything either. When the girl spoke she was completely taken off guard, startling. Blue eyes moved to the girl and her racing heart slowed "You scared me!" she laughed, shaking her head a little bit as she tucked back a strand of her long blond hair. She looked over the the pile of boxes that the girl had referred to and she shrugged "Doesn't matter to me.. It's not like i've exactly got mine all unpacked and out of the way either" she laughed, using her hands to motion at her mess of boxes scattered basically everywhere about the living room, most filled with clothes.
August stepped back, shaking her head a little bit, that was it, she had too many clothes, she figured she ought to be giving some away. There was no way on earth that she'd ever be able to wear all of them in her entire lifetime. She looked over at Bryn and bit the corner of her lip. The girl was slightly taller then her, definitely more toned, and slightly bulkier, not fatter per say just bulkier, she wasn't sure the other girl would be able to fit her clothes as August wore them rather tight but she figured she'd offer them as soon as she decided which ones she planned to get rid of. She shrugged slightly, moving to pick up the box and carry it back to her room, singing along quietly to the music playing as she went.
