Sample Post: Chase grew up on a small cattle ranch with over 400 head of cows. He went to school for his twelve torture-some years and as soon as he graduated he headed for the oil patch. He worked hard, being in for 4 weeks and out for 1,and made a good amount of money. When his dad fell ill he left the patch he had worked on for 3 years to help out at the ranch. Chase was known as a horse training around his small town and as soon as people heard he was back around town they started bringing him horses. He didn't mind,it was extra money.
Luckily,Chase's father began to get better after months of being sick. The doctors couldn't find anything exactly wrong with Don except the fact that the old smoker had a small cancer tumour that they removed at an early stage. This took a hard tole on Chase and his mom. Chase was close to his dad, very close and seeing the big,old cowboy laying in the hospital bed so fragile scared Chase.
Of course when Chase was working on the patch he had his experience with drugs and alchohal, but he soon quit when he returned home to work on the ranch. If his father ever found out it would kill him dead if the cancer didn't first.
Chase busied himself around the ranch working with the cows and horses that people brought him while his mom,Rita, never left his father's side.Chase would go in everynight till the day his dad was told he could go home. Don didn't like the city much, a trait that Chase had recieved from the old man,and was excited to get back home to the open prairie, but being as fragile as he was do to still being sick, he spent most of his time in the big log house sleeping. The house sat on a hill overlooking the red barn and paddocks. A small creek ran through the yard and could be seen from the house along with the pastures that were close to the barns. If the house hadn't had the beautiful view,Chase knew his dad would go crazy. And no wonder, who would want to be sick and kept under lock and key in a house for almost a year. Chase knew he sure wouldn't. He'd rather die,and when he died he'd be on the back of his favorite horse.
