Hey as you all know I currently own one horse, a handsome bay thoroughbred gelding who is coming along greatly. I decided a week ago to name him Bubbers as a nickname. So far his show name is in the hands of the yearbook committee at my school. So far his new career is english trail and beginning to learn some basics of ground poles for a possibly eventing career in the future.
Well know I have TWICE as much news. I just recently purchased a Connemara x Thoroughbred x Shetland x Warmblood mare who is said to make a great prospect for anything. An adorable height at fifteen and two hands with a black mane that is so much of a problem. Her tail is a bit long and it only goes half way down the back of her legs. Black mane and tail with a pinto painted body. She's really adorable and I'd love to get a picture of her in the future when she gets all prettied up and all that good stuff.
So this is a poll of what I should train her in. A great prospect for almost everything but everything listed above it what I can help train her in. So please vote!

I'd vote... But I'm not big on training my horses for one thing in particular. I know that's just me and I am a bit of a freak but I couldn't ever make up my mind besides it's boring to be banned to one thing if you know what I mean xD I mean she's a great prospect for anything you should be like messing around with a little bit of everything! So I suppose my vote is all of the above. [/sup]

Eh, I figured I'd turn it into a three way tie and vote for Dressage as that's my personal favorite, but most people rip their hair out now don't they? Hehe, I guess I'm just nuts.
But Fuzz is probably right as not only is she a genius, but she has a point. Try a little of everything if you can. It's hard to just limit yourself, particularly without knowing what your horse loves. Some horses can't stand western cinches, so it will be problematic if you set out to do western pleasure if your hand gets bitten off every time you try to saddle her. (Personal experience there.) Or try something new, like reining. If your horse isn't trained in a particular area you might as well try stuff. My Dressage horse wouldn't try anything western in his life, so take advantage of the chance to explore different things while you can.
Oh and you so stole Bubbers. That's my boy Bubba's nickname. xP
