Physical Appearance: Born a natural tawny brown, but of his eve changing personality, going “blond” struck to his appeal. James often sported the preferred “bed-head” style, sometimes sprucing it up with hair gel from Victoria’s Secret entitled ‘So Sexy’. To keep his shaggy, semi-long look, he trusted only a hair stylist at an up-end Angelo David hair salon in New York.
Woman found his stomach, toned but not over-powering to be one of his best assets. It was pretty pale from how much he frequented a shirt. Like the Greek statures, woman sought his body too.
His square jaw line and delicate thin lips were masculine and endearing. The light salmon color was like the wall colors of the early 60’s.
His dimples indented lightly when he smirked and his smile, though small, was adorable worth swooning. Teeth straight and pearlescent, graced the presence of only people he was particularly fond of. It was a rarity, like a lunar eclipse.
Just above those dimples lay two perfectly hazel eyes. The green specks ripple in and out in a pattern from the iris. His long lashes were a blessing from his parents and edged his eyes nicely.
Likes ; August ; He is quite the fan of his bestest friend miss August Jones. She just makes his day with out even having to say anything. As much as his best friend likes to deny it he's fallen hard to the girl but he'd never admit it. His Guitar ; Guitarist and lead singer in a garage band when he was about sixteen caused him to become rather attached to his guitar. Since then his playing has improved tremendously but despite what people say he has no intentions of going into it as a career of any sorts. He's given up on bands and now just plays for fun. Coke ; To Specify : we're talking the drug not the drink. Though to most of his friends dismay he has what he calls a "slight" addiction to the very addicting drug. Others ; Alcohol, bar tending, ponies, blonds, skateboarding, being the center of attention, and sex.
Dislikes: Coming off a high. People that don't like him for no reason... well, people that don't like anyone for no reason but especially him. People that talk a lot about themselves when he didn't even ask. Tea. Being alone. and Cats.
Personality: James has been told by some that he doesn't have much of a personality. He likes to think that the people that tell him so are just jealous because of their lack of personality. The guy is what some would call extremely laid back, nothing ever seems to bother him and if it does you'll probably never know about it.
James is the sort to play favorites which is probably why most of his girlfriends never seemed to last long. He had a habit of treating August like a princess while letting his current fuck(that's really all they are) sit around like a toad or something. Needless to say his relationships don't seem to last long in the slightest. But can you really blame the girls? I don't think i'd want to be put after a Guitar and a different girl.
James isn't really the sort to speak his mind to complete strangers. He's not a fan of other peoples opinions so why on earth would they be a fan of his. Besides he doesn't like to hurt peoples feelings and on occasion speaking your mind would do that. He's more known to lie then tell the truth quite frankly.
History: Raised by an alcoholic mother and an abusive father James never really functioned very well growing up. He'd go to school with bruises hidden beneath his pants and long sleeved shirts and despite how much he wished someone would spot one and ask they never did and so things continued in a not so lovely matter. He learned to shut the world off, probably why he's so laid back now, nothing gets to the guy because he couldn't let it when he was growing up.
In seventh grade a new girl showed up in school, quiet and shy but she'd sensed something about James and wasn't nervous around him. James Ryan and August Jones hit it off and soon became rather inseparable. For the first couple years of the friendship August never met the boy's parents, never heard about them, as fishy as it seemed she didn't push it. It was Freshman year of highschool that he finally took his best friend home with him, thinking that his parents would be gone. They weren't.
James father went into a rage that he'd bring someone home with him. August escaped the house, leaving James to deal with his father. She returned an hour later with the cops in toe and the raging man was arrested and put in jail. James was left with his mother and with her husband gone she chilled out on the drinking a little.
Things sort of got normal for the teenage boy and he no longer lived in fear if being killed in the middle of the night by his crazy father. August and James had a bond closer then anything else and it was the way they both wanted it. When August moved away it was really only a matter of time before James followed. No one was really surprised when he announced that he was following her. They just hope he doesn't get his heart broken...
